Replaying old Pokémon games on an emulator is free and an a great nostalgia trip. Playing these fan-made ROMHacks is also free and an amazing experience. Like many other ROMHacks this was made by fans of the franchise, working for no profit but purely the love of Pokémon games. The game story, the amount of detail and work that has gone in are truly remarkable. Dark Rising has a Day and Night mode included, and you’ll be able to explore a new region. You’ll also get some new moves and a few mini-games to play.
The Pokémon Roster has undergone a massive boost with more than 400 Pokémon up to Generation 4 added for your gaming. The game graphics have been updated drastically since its FireRed level while offering adequate content for players to go around. After playing some of them, I have a lot of respect for the amount of work that went into these projects. One thing to keep in mind is the game’s difficulty curve, which can prove challenging for inexperienced players. This may be appealing for players who find mainline Pokemon games too easy, but there’s a possibility that those unprepared may find this game frustrating. Nevertheless, the storyline is engaging and involves some favorite characters from past games — so while it attempts to bring in new content, it retains some classic elements fans will appreciate.
You can get the ups file from the official pokecommunity page made by the creator. You should download the original rom and the patch filrle. Your emulator’s help pages should be able to tell you how to set these. Also ensure that the “Real-Time Clock” is enabled — this should allow Ruby-, Sapphire-, Emerald- and day/night-based FireRed hacks to run.

By corrupting the item list, figured out how to make the front door of his house warp directly to the end of the game resulting in the fastest Pokemon speed run ever.
